Summary
This command is used to measure the length of selected track in the current design.
Access
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by choosing the Reports » Measure Selected Objects command, from the main menus.
Use
First, ensure that the entire length of track that you wish to include in the measurement, is selected.
After launching the command, an information dialog will appear, detailing the total measured length of the track.
Tips
- Measurable primitives can be either routed track (net-aware) or lines (track that is not net-aware). Arc objects can also be included in the measurement.
- Measurements are returned in inches (when the measurement unit for the board is set to Imperial), or millimeters (when the measurement unit for the board is set to Metric).
