The Layer Information dialog provides controls to have a large degree of control over the layer information displayed in the Layer Stack Legend view of a Draftsman document.

With a Layer Stack Legend object selected in the active Draftsman document, this dialog can be accessed from the Properties panel by clicking the Layer Info button (under the Properties region of the panel).

- Grid - this region displays information for each layer in the design including Pattern, Material, Layer, Thickness, Dielectric Material, Type, and Gerber.
- Visible - toggle the visibility of the outer layers (Paste, Solder, and Overlays) by enabling or disabling the checkbox. You also can also edit the content of individual table cells. The cells are initially populated from the board layer stack data, however, once a cell has been manually edited, it will not be updated from the board data (Tools » Update Board).
- Pattern
- Fill - use to define the display color for each layer. Click the
button to open the Fill Style dialog then select the desired pattern and color or enable the Use Default Color option to use the system assigned color.

- Total
- Name - this displays the total board thickness by default, but can be renamed. Enter a new name if desired.
- Custom Value - enter a custom total board thickness value to replace the calculated thickness value.
- Columns - use the drop-down to enable or disable the checkbox next to items to show/hide columns in the table. Use (Select All) to show/hide all columns. Enable Create New Column to add a new Column(x) to the table, where x is an incremented number for new columns created.
