Summary
This command is used to extend a selection by one word to the left of the current cursor position.
Access
Access to this command is made using the Shift+Ctrl+Left Arrow keyboard shortcut only.
Use
Simply position the cursor at the required location in the document and launch the command. The selection will include all characters to the left of the original cursor position, up to the beginning of the first word encountered, as defined by an alphanumeric character preceded by a space character.
Use the command repeatedly, to extend the selection to include additional words to the left.
Tips
- You can control selection specifically by using Click-and-drag.
