Summary

Returns pad objects whose Shape (Mid Layer 12) property complies with the Query.

Syntax

PadShape_MidLayer12 = PadShape_String
PadShape_MidLayer12 <> PadShape_String

PadShape_String must be one of the following strings:

  • 'Round'
  • 'Rectangular'
  • 'Octagonal'
  • 'Rounded Rectangle'

Example Usage

PadShape_MidLayer12 = 'Rectangular'
Returns all pad objects whose Shape (Mid Layer 12) property is set to Rectangular.

PadShape_MidLayer12 <> 'Octagonal'
Returns all objects except for pad objects whose Shape (Mid Layer 12) property is set to Octagonal.

PadShape_MidLayer12 = 'Round' || PadShape_MidLayer12 = 'Rectangular'
Returns all pad objects whose Shape (Mid Layer 12) property is set to either Round or Rectangular.

IsPad && PadShape_MidLayer12 <> 'Octagonal'
Returns all objects except for pad objects whose Shape (Mid Layer 12) property is set to Octagonal.

Tips

  1. The single quote characters (') at the start and end of PadShape_String are mandatory.
  2. For simple pads (with Stack Mode set to Simple) the Shape (Mid Layer 12) property will be the same as the Shape (All Layers) property, since the specified shape is used for all signal layers.
  3. For Top-Middle-Bottom pads (with Stack Mode set to Top-Middle-Bottom) the Shape (Mid Layer 12) property will be the same as the Shape (Mid Layer 1) property, since the shape specified for Signal Layer 1 is applied to all internal ('middle') signal layers.
  4. The Shape (Mid Layer 12) property is only defined for pad objects.
