Summary

The Change component type dialog is used to change the component type of the selected component.

Access

The dialog is accessed by clicking the Edit button on the right-click menu of the Components panel. The dialog opens only when the current component type is different from the template that is currently being used. 

Options/Controls

  • Yes, change component type of <component> - choose to change the component type to the one specified in the dialog.
  • No, keep component type of <component> - choose to not change the component type.
