Summary

Returns pad objects whose pad X Size on Signal Layer 17 complies with the Query. This includes:

• Simple pads whose X Size (All Layers) property complies with the Query.
• Top-Middle-Bottom pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 1) property complies with the Query.
• Full Stack pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 17) property complies with the Query.

Syntax

PadXSize_MidLayer17 : Number

Number will follow the measurement units currently employed for the document – either Imperial (mil; 1mil = 0.001inch) or Metric (mm; 1mm = 0.001meter).

A specific option for the measurement unit can be specified – overriding the default units specified at the document level – through use of an additional measurement unit-based keyword:

• AsMils(PadXSize_MidLayer17) : Number – to specify a size in mil.
• AsMM(PadXSize_MidLayer17) : Number – to specify a size in mm.

Example Usage

PadXSize_MidLayer17 = 100
Returns all simple pad objects whose X Size (All Layers) property is equal to 100 current measurement units. Also returns all Top-Middle-Bottom pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 1) property is equal to 100 current measurement units. Also returns all Full Stack pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 17) property is equal to 100 current measurement units.

PadXSize_MidLayer17 >= 4.064
Returns all simple pad objects whose X Size (All Layers) property is greater than, or equal to, 4.064 current measurement units. Also returns all Top-Middle-Bottom pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 1) property is greater than, or equal to, 4.064 current measurement units. Also returns all Full Stack pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 17) property is greater than, or equal to, 4.064 current measurement units.

AsMils(PadXSize_MidLayer17) > 80
Returns all simple pad objects whose X Size (All Layers) property is greater than 80mil. Also returns all Top-Middle-Bottom pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 1) property is greater than 80mil. Also returns all Full Stack pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 17) property is greater than 80mil.

AsMM(PadXSize_MidLayer17) Between 1.524 And 3.81
Returns all simple pad objects whose X Size (All Layers) property is greater than or equal to 1.524mm and less than or equal to 3.81mm. Also returns all Top-Middle-Bottom pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 1) property is greater than or equal to 1.524mm and less than or equal to 3.81mm. Also returns all Full Stack pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 17) property is greater than or equal to 1.524mm and less than or equal to 3.81mm.

PadXSize_MidLayer17 <> 50
Returns all simple pad objects whose X Size (All Layers) property is not equal to 50 current measurement units. Also returns all Top-Middle-Bottom pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 1) property is not equal to 50 current measurement units. Also returns all Full Stack pads, whose X Size (Mid Layer 17) property is not equal to 50 current measurement units.

Tips

1. The X Size (All Layers) property is only defined for pads whose Stack Mode property is set to Simple.
2. The X Size (Mid Layer 1) property is defined for Top-Middle-Bottom pads, whose Stack Mode property is set to Top-Middle-Bottom.
3. The X Size (Mid Layer 17) property is defined for Full Stack pads, whose Stack Mode property is set to Full Stack.
