Summary
As its name suggests, the Data Management – SVN Libraries page of the Preferences dialog provides controls relating to the use of SVN Database Libraries.
Access
The Data Management – SVN Libraries page is part of the main Preferences dialog (DXP » Preferences) and is accessed by clicking the SVN Libraries entry under the Data Management folder, in the left hand pane of the dialog.
Options/Controls
Repository Working Copy for Library Editing
- Working Folder - The working SVN libraries containing component symbols and models are stored in a specified working directory of the librarian's choice. The Librarian works with the files in his local working folder and when he needs latest copies, he checks out the refreshed files from the repository into his working folder. When the librarian makes changes to these files, they can be saved in this folder and then committed (pass changes) to the repository. Edit the field to change the working folder or press the browse button at the end of this field if you wish to change the default working folder directory.
Repository Cache for Designer
- Do not check files more often than - If the elapsed time between the last update and the action is greater than the time threshold, the repository update WILL be performed. Use this field to change the time interval as required.
