         The Pad-Via Layer Editor dialog

Summary

The Pad-Via Layer Editor dialog provides controls related to pad or via settings for each layer including shape, size, and X/Y location. The dialog caption and the available controls will change to reflect whether you are updating a pad or via layer.

Access

The same dialog is used for both pads and vias. The dialog caption and options change to reflect which object you are updating.

  • When updating a via: In the Add Shielding to Net dialog, enable the Full Stack option (located in the Via Style region) then click Edit Full Stack Via Sizes
For a via, only the Diameter and Layer Stack Reference Index options can be edited.
  • When updating a pad: In the Pad properties dialog, enable the Full Stack option (in the Size and Shape region of the dialog) then click the Edit Full Pad Layer Definition button.
