Summary

The Search For Role dialog allows you to search for roles within a server in order to give permissions to certain roles for specified folders or items. 

For information about controlling server content access, see Controlling Access to Server Content.

Access

The dialog is accessed by clicking Add Role from the Add button drop-down in the Edit Operation Permissions or the Permissions For Folder dialog.

Options/Controls

  • Role Name - type in the target role name for the search. 
  • Role - results matching the search terms are shown here.
