The following pre-packaged resource, derived from this base command, is available:
Set Location Mark n
Applied Parameters: LocationMark=n (where n is in the range 1 to 10)
Summary
This command is used to store the coordinates of a position in the current document, as defined by the user, in the nth location marker. This position can be accessed quickly by using the corresponding Jump Location Mark n command.
Access
This command is accessed from the Schematic Editor by choosing the Edit » Jump » Set Location Marks » n command, from the main menus.
Use
After launching the command, the cursor will change to a crosshair. Simply position the cursor at the point in the workspace that you wish to create a marker and click. The coordinates of this position will be stored in the nth location marker.
Tips
- A new position assigned to the location marker will overwrite a previously defined position.
- The stored location is only available while the schematic document remains open (active or not). If the document is closed and opened again, the location marker will be empty.
