Summary
The Board Outline Creation Successful dialog provides controls to adjust the board outline's alignment when defining the board shape based on an existing 3D body. DRC checking for the model part also can be disabled and hidden.
Access
The dialog is accessed from the 3D mode of the PCB Editor by clicking Design » Board Shape » Define from 3D body from the main menus then selecting a 3D body on the board.
Options/Controls
- Hide and disable DRC checking for the model part - enable to hide and disable any DRC checking for the model part. This option is enabled by default.
- Modify model height - select the option desired for determining how the 3D model is aligned with the board. The options are:
To align face with top PCB board surface
To align face with bottom PCB board surface
Do not modify model position
