The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:
Create Managed Project
Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=CreateProject|Index=n|Source=NewProject (where n is in the range 0-20)
Summary
This command is used to create a Managed Project based on the chosen activated project creation process.
Access
The indexed commands are accessed in the following ways:
- Click File » New » Managed Project from the main menus then select the desired process from the sub-menu.
- Right-click on a Workspace entry (*.DsnWrk) in the Projects panel, select Add New Project » Managed Project, then select the desired process from the sub-menu.
If no active process definitions are available for the Project Creations process theme - in your active server - the sub-menus will not be visible.
Use
After launching the command, the Create Project dialog (actually named after the chosen process) opens. Use the General tab of the dialog to describe the project and specify the type of project and template, if desired. On the Advanced tab, you can specify the location of the project and choose the repository, and repository and server folders. Once ready, click Start to create the new managed project in accordance with the underlying workflow for that process.
