Home Tab Commands Specific to the Schematic Editor UI in CircuitMaker

Schematic Editor

The regions that are specific to a schematic document on the Home tab are Circuit Elements and Graphical Elements.

The Circuit Elements region includes commands that place objects that are circuit-related, for example, Power Port, and Bus. 

The Graphical Elements region includes commands that place objects that are graphical in nature, for example, Polygon, Rectangle, Elliptical Arc). 

Schematic Library Editor

The commands that are specific to a schematic library document on the Home tab are Pin in the Circuit & Graphical Elements region and Symbol in the Symbol Templates region.

• The Pin command is used to place a pin object.
• Use the Symbol command to open a drop-down of symbols from which you can choose.
