Move Cursor Up
Applied Parameters: Position = Up
Summary
This feature enables you to use the keyboard to move the cursor upwards in the current document workspace, in increments of one snap grid unit.
Access
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor and PCB Library Editor. With the cursor within the main design window, use the Up Arrow keyboard shortcut.
Use
After launching the command, cursor movement depends on the type of grid beneath the cursor:
- Cartesian Grid - the cursor will be moved upward in the workspace by one snap grid unit.
- Polar Grid - the cursor will be moved counterclockwise by one snap grid unit.
Use the command repeatedly to move the cursor further upward/counterclockwise.
Tips
- One snap grid unit is defined as being the value specified in the Step Y field (for a prevailing Cartesian grid), or the Angular Step field (for a prevailing Polar grid).
