The Confirm Save for Modified Documents dialog The Confirm Save for Modified Documents dialog

Summary

The Confirm Save for Modified Documents dialog allows you to choose which modified documents are to be saved and which are not when closing one or more projects that have design documents with unsaved modifications.

Access

This dialog is accessed in the following ways:

  • When attempting to close an open project that has at least two modified design documents that have not yet been saved.
  • When attempting to close Altium NEXUS when there are at least two open, modified design documents across multiple projects that have not yet been saved.

Options/Controls

  • Document List - the main area of the dialog lists all open and modified documents for which you need to make a decision about whether or not to save. Documents are grouped by type (e.g., PCB Documents, PCB Projects, Schematic Documents). Each document lists the following:
    • Document Name - the name of the document.
    • Document Path - the path to the local copy of the document that resides in the applicable installation folder.
    • Decision - the decision of whether or not to save the document. By default, the entry will be set to  Save. Use the drop-down to change this to  Don't Save if desired.
  • Save All - click to quickly set the decision for all documents in the list to  Save.
  • Save None - click to quickly set the decision for all documents in the list to  Don't Save.
  • Save Selected - click to quickly set the decision for all currently selected documents in the list to  Save.
Use standard Ctrl+click and Shift+click techniques to select multiple entries. Note that multi-selection only works across documents in the same grouped category
