Start Project Activity
Applied Parameters: ObjectKind=ProjectActivity|Index=n|Source=Menu (where n is in the range 0-20)
Summary
This command is used to start a new project activity for the active/focused managed project.
Access
From a managed project, the indexed commands are accessed in the following ways:
- Click Project » Project Activities then select the desired command from the sub-menu.
- Right-click on the project in the Projects panel, choose Project Activities then select the desired command from the sub-menu.
If no active process definitions are available for the Project Activities process theme- in your active server - the sub-menus will not be visible.
Use
After launching the command, what happens depends on the typ of project activity:
- Design Review - an initial dialog will open. Use the dialog to specify initial requirements (as defined for the process) and start the process (start the design review).
- Publish to PLM - an initial Publish_to_PLM dialog will appear. Use this to select the project to publish to you PLM instance, then start the process.
