Applied Parameters: Scope=Selected
Summary
This command is used to toggle the visibility of the selected part(s) - PCBs, Components, and 3D STEP models (enclosure/case) - in the active Multi-board Assembly document (*.MbaDoc).
Access
This command can be accessed from the Multi-board Assembly Editor in the following ways:
- With the required part(s) selected in the workspace, right-click and choose the Visible command from the context menu.
- With the required part(s) selected in the Multiboard Assembly panel, right-click and choose the Visible command from the context menu.
The command is not available directly in the workspace for components.
Use
First, ensure that the part(s) that you wish to hide are selected in the workspace, or in the Multiboard Assembly panel. In the workspace, these can be PCBs and/or STEP models (of the enclosure/case for example). The panel offers the additional ability to toggle the visibility of components using this command.
After launching the command, the selected part(s) will be hidden from the workspace.
Tips
- While a part can be hidden using this command, you can not make the part visible again directly from within the workspace. This must be done from the Multiboard Assembly panel.
