Nexus message

This documentation page references Altium NEXUS/NEXUS Client (part of the deployed NEXUS solution), which has been discontinued. All your PCB design, data management and collaboration needs can now be delivered by Altium Designer and a connected Altium 365 Workspace. Check out the FAQs page for more information.

This Altium NEXUS software release introduces a new era for its circuit simulation capabilities through the introduction of an advanced new SPICE simulation engine developed by Altium. The replacement engine offers immediate performance benefits and provides a scalable foundation for future development in mixed circuit simulation in Altium NEXUS.

The new simulation engine and its core algorithms offer a performance that is multiple times faster than before, coupled with vastly improved solution convergence, accuracy and reliability.

As a completely revised foundation for future updates to the mixed simulation feature, it also paves the way for a fresh approach to simulation model sources. As part of this development, Altium's proprietary SimCode™ digital models are no longer supported and will be replaced by support for more contemporary model formats.

This release also includes a large number of Simulation bug fixes (see Release Notes).
