The following pre-packaged resource, derived from this base command, is available:
Access Harness Definition Resolver
Applied Parameters: Action=Archive
Summary
This command is used to access the Harness Definition Resolver dialog, which can be used to interrogate, and track down, issues with harness definitions. Such issues typically arise when sheet entries and/or ports on source schematic sheets reference a harness connector type that is not defined in a harness definition file, or where a definition in a harness definition file is not in-sync with the graphical depiction of that harness on the schematic sheet - resulting in missing harness definition, or conflicting harness definition errors, respectively.
Access
This command is accessed from the Schematic Editor by choosing the Tools » Harness Definition Problem Finder command, from the main menus.
Use
After launching the command, the Harness Definition Resolver dialog will appear. Use this dialog to interrogate any errors detected with the harness definitions for the active design project. Select a problem in the list and click the Details button to access a dialog offering greater detail, helping you to track down, and ultimately resolve the issues.
Tips
- Clicking the Details button with a Missing Definition problem selected will open the Missing Harness Definition Details dialog. Clicking the Details button with a Conflicting Definitions problem selected will open the Conflicting Harness Definitions Details dialog.
