Summary
This command is used to access the Plot Options dialog, from where you can set up display options for the active wave plot.
Access
This command can be accessed from the SimData Editor by:
- Choosing the Plot » Plot Options command from the main menus.
- Right-clicking within the active plot (away from Y-axis and waveform names) and choosing the Plot Options command from the context menu.
Use
First ensure that the wave plot whose options you wish to define, is made active in the waveform analysis window. This is achieved by clicking anywhere within the area of the wave plot.
After launching the command, the Plot Options dialog appears. Use the dialog to define a title for the plot, the grid settings, and the line style to be used for the plot's grid lines.
Tips
- If the Number of Plots Visible option is set to All in the Document Options dialog (Tools » Document Options), the active wave plot is distinguished by a black solid line around its waveform name section. If the Number of Plots Visible option is set to 1, 2, 3, or 4, the active wave plot is distinguished by a black arrow at the left hand side of its display area.
- To be able to see the effects of all of the plot display options, set the Number of Plots Visible option to anything but All.
