Applied Parameters: None
Summary
This command is used to unmerge a cell that has been previously merged in a custom table, in the active Draftsman document (*.PCBDwf).
For a high-level look at how the Altium Draftsman Drawing System provides an interactive approach to the creation of production documentation for your PCBs, see
Draftsman. For detailed information about the custom table object type, see
Table.
Access
This command is accessed from the PcbDrawing Editor by right-clicking within a merged cell within a placed table and choosing the Table » Unmerge Cell command from the context menu.
The command will only become available for use provided the cursor is within a merged cell within the table, or a selected expanse of cells includes at least one merged cell.
Use
First, ensure that the text cursor is present within the cell that you wish to unmerge.
After launching the command, the cell will be unmerged, reverting back to the individual cells that existed before they were merged.
If the cell has text within it, after the unmerge that text will appear in the left-most/top-most cell (as applicable).
Tips
- If multiple merged cells are included in a selection of cells, note that using this command will apply (unmerge) only the left-most/top-most merged cell.
- Defaults for this primitive type can be defined on the Draftsman - Defaults page of the Preferences dialog.
