Delete Layer

Summary
This feature is used to delete the selected layer in the Layer Stack.
Access
This command can be accessed from the Layer Stack in the following ways:
- Choose Edit » Delete Layer from the main menus.
- Right-click on a layer in the grid field of the Layer Stack then choose Delete layer.
The Delete Layer command is not available when: the Top Layer or Bottom Bayer is chosen, or the chosen layer is a dielectric layer, and removing it would result in two copper layers being next to each other.
Use
After launching the command, the selected layer will be deleted.
If no primitives exist on the layer to be deleted, there is no confirmation dialog and the selected layer will be deleted immediately.
Tips
- If the layer to be deleted contains primitives, a dialog asking for confirmation will open before deletion occurs. Click Yes to proceed with the deletion.
