ActiveBOM_Dlg-ChecksSettingsDialogBOM Checks_AD
This document is no longer available beyond version 21.0. Information can now be found here: Configuring the BOM Checks for version 25
Summary
The BOM Checks dialog is used to define the error reporting levels for each of the possible violations associated with Design Items or Part Choices. The BOM Check process runs automatically in the background whenever an ActiveBOM edit action is performed, or whenever the BOM Items are refreshed, such as after a project compile or after the button is clicked.
Detected BOM violations that have a report level of Warning, Error or Fatal Error are flagged in the BOM Status column of the ActiveBOM grid. Note that multiple violations can be detected; hover over the icon in the BOM Status column for details. Alternatively, enable the BOM Status column in the Columns list in the ActiveBOM Properties panel (on the Columns tab) to display a text description in the BOM Items grid.
Access
To access the BOM Checks dialog, click the button in the BOM Checks section of the ActiveBOM Properties panel.
