In 2007, students from ETSEIB-UPC created Spain's first Formula Student team: ETSEIB Motorsport, and launched our first combustion car. In 2012, we became pioneers in electric mobility with the CAT05e, and in 2018, Driverless UPC developed an autonomous electric vehicle. Both teams advanced until merging in 2020 as BCN eMotorsport, designing cars capable of competing in both manual and autonomous categories. Our innovations include individual wheel motors and Torque Vectoring. Currently, we are working on the CAT17x, consolidating our leadership in Formula Student.
