[Why] Cannot use an on-demand license renewed but showing outdated subscription date
[What] A renewed on-demand license shows the incorrect old subscription date
[How] Sign out and back in. If still failing, close Altium, clear the license file cached at C:\ProgramData\Altium\Altium Designer {}_Security, and restart Altium to have a new file regenerated.
Solution Details
A recently renewed license may show the previous subscription date, to resolve this, you can try:Signing out and Signing back in. To do this, select your portrait icon in the top right and then select the sign-out button.
Afterwards, reselect the portrait icon and select Sign-In.
This should give you the Sign-in pop-up; where you can login with your AltiumLive Credentials.
If the incorrect date is still showing, you may need to clear the cache for the license. To do this, first close out Altium Designer and confirm that the process is not running via the Windows Task Manager. From here go to your:
C Drive ► ProgramData ► Altium Folder
You may need to enable <Show Hidden Folders> in your Windows Folder settings.
Or Access via: C:\ProgramData\Altium
Within this folder, delete your folders ending in _security. These are the cache files.
After deleting, restart Altium and relog-in.
