The General tab of the PCB Information dialog.

Summary

General page of PCB Information shows the number of primitives of the board, board dimensiions and some other information.

Access

In the PCB editor, select Reports » Board Information from the toolbar.

Options/Controls

General Tab

The General tab of the PCB Information dialog displays the number of primitives on the board, board dimensions, as well as other information such as the number of DRC violations and Pad holes.

• Primitives - Displays the number of different PCB primitive objects such as Fills and Strings.
• Board Dimensions - Displays the board length and width.
• Other - Displays numbers for other PCB related information, such as Pad/Via Holes, Pad Slot Holes, Pad Square Holes, and DRC Violations.
• Report - Create a Report for PCB information in HTML format.

Components Tab

The Components tab of the PCB Information dialog displays component information, including the total number of components on the top and bottom layers, respectively, within the PCB.

• Total - Shows the total number of components in the PCB
• Top - Shows the number of components on the Top Layer of the PCB
• Bottom - Shows the number of components on the Bottom Layer of the PCB
• Report - Create a Report from the PCB information in HTML format.

Nets Tab

The Nets tab displays Net information and the total number of Nets Loaded in the PCB.

• Loaded - Shows the number of total loaded Nets in the PCB.
• Pwr/Gnd - Opens the Internal Plane Information dialog that provides the designer with information about the internal plane layers used in the board design, including the net(s) connecting to them, and the pins (pads) of components associated to those nets.
• Report - Create a Report for PCB information in HTML format.
