The following pre-packaged resources, derived from this base command, are available:
Applied Parameters: Object = All
This command is used to unroute all physical connections on the board.
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by choosing the Route » Un-Route » All command from the main menus.
After launching the command, all physical connections (tracks and vias) will be removed and replaced with the complete rats-nest of logical connections.
Applied Parameters: Object = Net
This command is used to unroute all physical connections in a specified net.
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by choosing the Route » Un-Route » Net command from the main menus.
After launching the command, the cursor will change to a cross-hair. Position the cursor over a routed connection (or pad) belonging to the net you wish to unroute then click or press Enter. All routed track and vias for that net will be removed and replaced by the logical connections.
Continue unrouting connections associated with other nets or right-click or press Esc to exit.
Applied Parameters: Object = Connection
This command is used to unroute the physical connection between two pads.
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by choosing the Route » Un-Route » Connection command from the main menus.
After launching the command, the cursor will change to a cross-hair. Position the cursor over a segment of track that you wish to unroute (or a pad or via that it is connected to) then click or press Enter. The tracks and any vias between source and destination pads will be removed and replaced by the logical connection.
Continue unrouting further connections or right-click or press Esc to exit.
Applied Parameters: Object = Component
This command is used to unroute all physical connections emanating from the pads of a specified component.
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by choosing the Route » Un-Route » Component command from the main menus.
After launching the command, the cursor will change to a cross-hair. Position the cursor over the component whose physical connections you wish to unroute then click or press Enter. All physical connections (tracks and vias) emanating from pads of the chosen component will be removed and replaced with the logical connections, up to the next encountered pad in each case.
Continue unrouting the physical connections associated with other components or right-click or press Esc to exit.
Applied Parameters: Object = SingleComponent|ContextObject=Component
This command is used to unroute all physical connections emanating from the pads of the component under the cursor.
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by right-clicking over a component and choosing the Component Actions » Unroute Component command from the context menu.
After launching the command, all physical connections emanating from pads of the component will be removed and replaced with the logical connections, up to the next encountered pad in each case.
Applied Parameters: Object = Room
This command is used to unroute all physical connections associated with a particular room.
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by choosing the Route » Un-Route » Room command from the main menus.
After launching the command, the cursor will change to a cross-hair and you will be prompted to choose a room. Position the cursor over the room whose physical connections you wish to unroute then click or press Enter. A dialog will appear asking whether you wish to unroute connections that extend outside of the room. If you click Yes, all track (and vias) that resides in or passes into/out of the room will be removed and replaced by the logical connections. If you click No, only the pad-to-pad connections that are contained wholly inside the room will be unrouted.
Continue unrouting the physical connections associated with other rooms or right-click or press Esc to exit.
Applied Parameters: Object = SingleRoom|ContextObject=Room
This command is used to unroute all physical connections associated with the room under the cursor.
This command is accessed from the PCB Editor by right-clicking over a room and choosing the Room Actions » Unroute Room command from the context menu.
After launching the command, a dialog will appear asking whether you wish to unroute connections that extend outside of the room. If you click Yes, all track (and vias) that resides in or passes into/out of the room will be removed and replaced by the logical connections. If you click No, only the pad-to-pad connections that are contained wholly inside the room will be unrouted.
