The New Project command is used to open the Create Project dialog. Every design starts with a project file that stores project-level settings, such as links to each of the design documents within that project. The command can be accessed from the File menu in any editor.
The new project will be created in your Personal Space (on Altium 365) as noted in the Create Project dialog. Your design projects and those of the other CircuitMaker designers are collectively stored and accessible from the Altium 365 platform.
- Project Name - a default name appears; enter a meaningful name for the project.
- Description - enter a meaningful description of the project.
