KB: Increase the quality of the decals in SOLIDWORKS MCAD

Solution Details

Based on our observations, the quality of the decals depends on the combination of the version of SOLIDWORKS & the video card used. To improve the representation of the silkscreen, you can do the following:
a. Apply the most contrast scene on the default "Appearance" panel in SOLIDWORKS.
b. Switch to "Edit Decal" mode and set the luminous intensity to 1
Additionally, if you want to have the best, but static (or almost static) picture, you can use "Integrated preview" mode in the PhotoView add-in.
