The Select a Configuration dialog is used to select a configuration for your server working environment.

For information about managing environment configurations, see Environment Configuration Management.

Access

The dialog is accessed after clicking Sign in in the Sign in to Server dialog.

You must have two or more Environment Configurations already created using the Vault Browser interface to access the dialog. See Managing Environment Configurations for information regarding how to create Environment Configurations.
The dialog is accessed only if you are not an administrator for the server and have more than one applicable Environment Configuration.
Any number of Environment Configurations may be created and defined in accordance with the needs of your organization.

Options/Controls

  • Name / Description - the name and description of the configuration that you created in the Vault Browser interface. Select the desired configuration.
  • Remember my choice - enable to remember the selected configuration when signing in. When this is enabled, the dialog will not appear for any future sign in.
  • Work as administrator - enable to work as an administrator, which allows you to work within Altium Designer and with a server without any restrictions.
The Work as administrator option is available only if you are an administrator for the server and at least one applicable Environment Configuration applies.
