The Import MCAD Baseline dialog is used to Import an IDX file (MCAD Baseline.idx). This filetype is used in collaboration between ECAD and MCAD domains. Altium Designer facilitates this collaboration using the Mechanical CAD Collaboration extension (can be found on the Purchased tab of the Extensions & Updates view (DXP » Extensions and Updates)) extension, which is necessary to access this dialog.
Access
From the PCB Editor, select Import » MCAD IDX Baseline from the main menu.
Options/Controls
- Input MCAD Baseline File - Click the button to browse for, and select, the desired IDX file to be imported.
- Output PCB File - Click the button to browse for, and select, the desired PCB file into which proposed changes are to be synchronized.
